Happy half term!

As I'm sure you're aware, last week we had a few assessments to complete and the children made us very proud of their "can do" attitude.  However, it was clear why last week was so incredibly important..the SAT's?  NO!  It was all about the slime!  The children really enjoyed making their gooey delights!  Followed by a brilliant sunny trip to the park!

Not to mention another fantastic trip, to the Galleries of was just the right mix of informative, interesting and a little bit creepy!  Have a look at our gallery to see who our brilliant legal team, jury, witness and unfortunate defendant were!

Our Golden Book Star this week is...

I am incredibly proud of William – he has shown a great deal of strength this year.  He hasn’t always found it easy but what I admire about William is, that no matter what, he keeps trying.  Mrs Stead loves having him in her Maths and English class as she always knows he will be trying his very best – such as how much he has been practicing his times tables and spellings (even correcting Mrs Stead when she gets them wrong herself!).  His hard work is really showing, especially in how well he did in our recent mock SAT’s.  I hope William starts to really believe he is the wonderful, bright young man that we all know him to be.
