English

Welcome to 3G's English page!

Here you will find out what we will be getting up to in our English lessons and what the spellings are for each week.

This half term in English we will be starting off by looking at diary entries (recounts). We will look at what makes a good diary and the features relating to these. We start off with a cold write, eventually leading up to our hot write where we will be writing our own diary entries, making sure we include all what we have learnt!

Following that, we will be looking at 3 different types of poems: limericks, tankas and haikus. We look at what makes each poem unique and have a go at creating our own version of each! Its going to be a short but very busy half term!
