Week beginning 20th July
How is it the last couple of days already? All of use know that this isn't the year we expected or wanted for you, what a year to remember! We have loved the short time we all had together and wish you the best for secondary school. Hopefully you will come back and visit us when things return to normality.
So this week there are only slides for one day, Monday. As hopefully we will all be together (socially distanced of course) on Tuesday at the leavers picnic. The more the merrier!
Monday's work is not maths and English, it is more focused on helping you focus on the move to secondary school which we know can raise a mix of emotions in you. Work your way through the slides and make sure you ask questions (teacher, parents, carers, older siblings, friends etc) so you can feel as comfortable with the move as you possibly can.
If you do want to keep up with more learning though the summer holidays, Oak National Academy has a huge range of maths and English lessons that we haven't used, that you can access. They also have a range of foundation subjects and activity clubs (such as cooking and crafts) that are all available for free here: https://classroom.thenational.academy/
Take care year 6. We will miss you and wish you all the best.xx
