Week 11

Hi Year 4!

Hope you all had a lovely half term.

This week (week beginning 1st June), you'll be learning about shape and symmetry in Maths and you'll be working on your character descriptions in English. Learning Challenge is going to be finishing off our Transport - Locally, Nationally & Internationally topic so this week we'll be focusing on international transportation to compile a leaflet using the knowledge you built about airports and seaports (Week 9).

Next week, we'll be finishing by creating a DT project, creating our own mode of transport so now would be a great time to start gathering the materials you might need for that! Your computing task is going to link to e-safety. This task will be set over the next 2 weeks so that you have enough time to complete it to a good standard.

If you have any questions about any of the activities, or wanted to share any on the website, please email me on ejoyce@sawley-jun.derbyshire.sch.uk

Thanks and have a lovely week,

Mrs Joyce smiley
