Week 7

Hi Year 4, can you believe it's May?! Hope you're all doing ok - the weather hasn't been as lovely this week but I hope you're all still managing to get some fresh air during your daily walks!

This week, your English will be focusing on Newspaper Reports. In Maths, you'll be focusing on units of measure. These will be following the Oak Academy lesson plans like last week. Learning Challenge will continue your transport topic, this week looking at international transportation. I have created a powerpoint for your Learning Challenge this week so I have attached that below the timetable. I've also added an extra sheet of information below to either help with research or to do on Friday if you fancied an extension. Wednesday is a Science lesson and the resources can be found attached below the timetable too.

If you're wanting a bit of a change from Joe Wicks P.E then there are some nice activities on https://www.youthsporttrust.org/pe-home-learning

I've also attached some more P.E activities below the timetable.

The topmarks website has some brilliant Maths games if you wanted a bit of a break from the formal lessons or if you wanted a bit of a top up of maths but with a fun twist!

Keep safe, thinking of you all and hope you enjoy the activities set for this week. I'll be back next week with some more activities! I'd love to see the work you're getting up to at home so please send me pictures/documents and I'll happily put them onto the website so you can keep up with what your friends have been up to! Jade sent me a fabulous piece of work about canals which I've attached below. It's so lovely to see the wonderful efforts that have been put in!
