Week beginning 13/04/20

17/04/04 - I love this idea from Oxfam, investigating where the food in our houses come from! Have a look in your cupboards or think about the foods you’d usually eat.  Where does your cereal come from? How about the sugar or tea? Maybe you could even try and calculate the distance some of your food has had to travel to get to you!

15/04/20 - Happy Easter!  I hope you managed to enjoy the sunshine whilst keeping safe.  Have you all seen Mrs Burton's new blog?  Hopefully your parents had a message about it?  If not, you can find it here https://www.sawleyjunior.co.uk/sawley-lockdown-memories/

Send any pictures or messages to Mrs Burton, to form our own Sawley Juniors history book!

Also, for my next task, my inspiration today comes from all the bits and pieces I have found whilst having a spring clean in my house!  Can you make a collage with all the extra bits of recycling that are around the house of maybe even venture into the garden and use some fallen blossom?  Below are a couple of collages for inspiration.  Don't worry if you don't have any glue, just lay your art work out and take a picture.  Maybe send it in so I can put in on our site?

Collage ideas - what can you create?
