The Friends of Sawley

 

Welcome to the Friends of Sawley section!

 

The Friends of Sawley are a group of volunteer parents who work in partnership with the school to raise funds and support activities. Funds raised are then spent to benefit the pupils and their education.

Monies raised have been spent on –

• Coach travel for a variety of visits/events
• Resources and equipment
• Workshops
• IT equipment
• Prizes for raffles and competitions
• Sports

 

Monies are raised by –

• Christmas events
• Sponsored events
• Non-uniform days
• Raffles & Competitions

 

The Friends of Sawley are invaluable for their contribution to support the school community. The group meet together monthly to plan events and discuss new ideas. These meetings are informal and relaxed, and new members are most welcome.

It may be that you can offer time for the occasional event but do not wish to be part of the group that meet to organise and plan. If so, please let the Friends of Sawley know.
